Modelling Digital Sets: Hotel Completed

 
Completed Hotel from Unit 2 Maya tutorials, with a mix of orignal textures and lighting influences. Below is the CG pipeline.

    Nice job - However your AO pass it too grey and therefore its making your final comp 'muddy'. You need to set the 'Max Distance' on the Ambient Occlusion node. The value will depend upon your scene size but going with 5 is generally a good start. The result should be mainly a pure white image with smaller darker details in corners etc. Think contrast.
